The Dream of Memory - Photography and Assemblage

Market Street Gallery is pleased to present "The Dream of Memory," a four-person exhibition of mixed-media assemblage and photography that examines the phenomenon of memories and dreams as interpreted by four Bay Area artists. The exhibition opens on July 4th and runs through July 31st. There is a reception with the artists on Friday, July 18, from 6:00 to 9:00 pm.

Stacey Carter and John Fitzsimmons employ photography as their means of expression while Kat Flyn and Deborah Hayner create dreamlike worlds through the assembled compositions of found objects. All four artists live and work in San Francisco, CA. Carter and Hayner maintain artist studios at the Hunters Point Shipyard Artists Studios and Fitzsimmons and Flyn have studios at the SOMA Artists Studios in the South of Market neighborhood
